I am back!

Yes, I know its about time. Since my last post we have made an additional to our family. Colie Lynn was born March 23,2011 at 12:19 am. Weighing a whooping 8lbs 14oz. After 3 1/2 hrs of pushing she came out screaming and just recently started to stop. Our newest little girl looks just like me (Yeah). With her dark hair and dark brown eyes she is a true Borgeson. Since Colie been home Lana has been the best big sister ever. Lana loves to read books,sing,dance and touch Colie all day everyday. Even at bed time Lana will come down stair and say I never get to see Colie! I am so happy that Lana has a sister. Having a sister like I have is something I wanted so bad for Lana and its nice to see them together.

News and up coming events:

Since December Lana went to the movie for the first time. I took Lana to see Tangled and of course just like every little girl she feel in love with it.
Lana has multiple items for the summer so far a Tangled beach towel, bathing suit, flip flops and glasses. And come Lana's birthday we are having a Tangled party.
Now for Colie she has her little milestones too. During tummy time Colie can push herself up and hold her head up for long periods of time. She has also graduated to rice cereal for dinner. Our little girl has been sleeping though the night for about 2 weeks now so Frank and I are getting back to normal. But besides this the Checkovage house is pretty quiet.

Santa Comes to the Willow Grove Mall

Friday night Frank, Lana and I went the the mall to get Lana new earring because she lost one on Halloween. But when we got to the mall we were informed that Santa was coming. Lana got a free elf hat and a light up Santa wand. It was so cute!

Lana is Moving on Up!

This weekend Frank and his parents did me the biggest favor ever. They started building a closet in Lana's new room. It took only two days and its up and 1 coat of spackle is on. We are hoping to have the closet and the room painted in a couple weeks. Then Lana will have a new room and Frank will start on the baby room.
Did I say that my husband is awesome. I just figured everyone already knew.



She must have gotten the technique from her namesake Uncle Scott!

Lana turns 3!

This year Lana party was a Belle theme. So, we had a pool party and Lana got to wear her Belle bathing suit. She had a Belle cake and hasn't stopped talking about Belle since. Happy 3rd Lana!
Lana party was on the 3rd of July this year and we had a special family day on the 4th. Because we didn't have company we decided to head to fireworks for the first time. The fire work experience lasted 2 seconds. We will just have to keep trying.
