Thanksgiving

We started our Thanksgiving Day off with a quick game of Kickball that yes Frank, Lana and I were all on the winning team. Also I would like everyone to remember who was the MVP yes, my husband FRANK. After Kickball we headed home and watched some of the parade and took naps. Then is was off to the Check's for dinner. It was great, Mrs. Check had the table set so nice and dinner was fantastic. After dinner we headed to my parents for dessert. Lana and I didn't mess around we had a little of everything and Frank took pie home. It was a great day.

Visit to See Santa!

Since we have had Lana, every Thanksgiving Eve we take her to the mall to visit Santa. Its just a nice way to kick start our holiday. Because you can't take your own pictures with Santa, I just have before pictures. Lana was a little afraid at first but after a couple a minutes she even told Santa what she wanted.

With the holidays coming and working 2 jobs, things get a little hectic. So, Friday the 13th I was home cleaning my house when I had an idea. Thanksgiving is only 2 weeks away and I will have to decorate soon. I remembered that I don't work the day before or after Thanksgiving so I could decorate then. After REALLY thinking about it, I decided who wants to spend their days off decorating. NOT ME!! SO.... yes my house is decorated for Christmas. My Christmas tree isn't up yet but will be soon.

So... when your decorating I will be spending Black Friday shopping the my sister!! It sounds like a good idea now doesn't it.

Hair Time

Every morning after Lana gets her bath and gets dress, I yell hair time. This isn't just recent. I have been doing it since she could walk. Now if you look back on old pictures of Lana and now recent pictures of Lana she doesn't have that much hair. But as you all know that I am a little crazy and have to try everyday. What made me bring this up is that I was looking over Lana's Halloween pictures here on the blog. And I just want everyone to know that I curled her hair 4-5 times that day. Yes, 4-5 ....After I thought about it I just couldn't stop laughing at how non-curly her hair is in every picture. But that my girl, cute no matter what! I am nuts:)

Sunday night we all heading to my mom's house for dinner and cake to celebrate my Dad's Birthday.. I was a great time and the kids just couldn't have been better! Hope you have a great birthday Dad--We Love You! ( The last 2 pictures I had to add just look at Jorja)

Apples,Apples and More Apples

After dance Saturday Frank and I decided to take Lana up to Peddlars Village to the Apple Festival. Now I thought it was a great idea. It was going to be a great day and it would be nice just to be outside after all the cold weather. After talking Frank into it off we went. Now after we got there the idea wasn't so great. It took us over 45 mins to just park the car. After that we didn't even get anything apple because all the lines were so long. So in these pictures Lana is eating CHEESE!

Happy Halloween!

What a great day. It started off a little early, 9:30pm Friday night after putting Lana to bed 2 hours before she woke up saying "I am up, time to Trick or Treat" back to bed she goes and around 1:30am same thing, back to bed, finally at a normal time 7:30am I finally got her up. Around 1pm we headed to the Checkovage house to start off Trick or Treating. Lana walked right up to the door and did great. After leaving there we headed to the Quirk's house for a Spooktacular night..It was so great for the kids to all go out together. Jorja led the pack to show the little kids what to do. But she was so nice and waited for them to make sure they were ok.
The night was great but after it was over I got to spend some needed sister time with Jill. Just laying together on the couch(at different ends)watching a movie. It was a great night and Jill we have some great kids.. Love you Quirk's
